Inside God’s Purpose, you’re born to lead in some capacity. As a result of this belief, we are invoking God’s holy presence to come and ignite this generation with a holy fire that they may rise as bold warriors of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Under this mandate, the BLAAZE seeks to compel young people to encounter their destiny as Born Leaders Anointed As Zion’s Elect! BLAAZE is the youth ministry at New Life Christian Center in Gainesville, Florida.

Our mission is to develop children, youth and young adults into future leaders with character and proper motives that will bring Godly change in our society. Our primary goal is to cause youth to own the ministry of Jesus Christ, occupy their place in the body of Christ, and obey the call of the Spirit at all cost. Secondly, we desire to establish a spiritual outpost within the communities represented by youth within the BLAAZE congregation through constant evangelistic outreach efforts. We understand that a Godly home atmosphere is vital to the success of youth and young adults. Our third objective is household salvation within the families of BLAAZE youth. Lastly, connection between believers is important. We aspire to strengthen and solidify the cords of relationship and accountability between like-minded believers of the local Body of Christ.

We thrive on three areas that are vital to an indivduals success and growth as a believer. With prayer, evangelism and discipleship you find maturity and your God given destiny. These areas have to be cultivated and made priority not only in development but in the impacting of our city and region.

In today’s society sustainability is important. We believe that if we can disciple leaders to impact their surroundings we will make an undeniable impact in our city and region.

Discipleship Process

Birth – Birth youth into the Kingdom of God, salvation and deliverance

Bond – Youth bond with leadership and other youth, building healthy and Godly relationships through fellowship activities

Belong – Develop that sense of belonging within the ministry, creating a comfortable family atmosphere.

Build – Begin to teach and disciple Godly character and integrity

Become – Begin to discover callings, gifts and abilities. Youth will begin to find out their purpose and direct involvement within the Kingdom of God and the youth ministry.
